card readers for plug-in SAM cards can be fitted into the underside
of keypad.
- Positioning
of card contacts complies with ISO 7816/2.
- Push-pull
card reader with spring-loaded contacts.
- MTBF is 200,000
read cycles for user card reader and 5,000 for user card reader
and 5,000 for SAM card reader.
- Electrical
characteristics comply with ISO 7816/3; active short-circuit breaker
protects smartcard by deactivating interface.
- Data is transferred
to the PC through the serial port.

be downloaded from the host.

are encrypted by the corresponding master keys.

encrypted by the working key, after the master key having been
